Hello, my name is Leah Topek-Walker and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) in the state of New York. For the past 11 years, I have been providing psychotherapy and behavioral interventions to individuals, couples, families and groups facing a variety of challenges. I graduated from Stony Brook University with my degree in social work in 2005; before that I studied liberal arts and creative writing at the New School for Social Research. I have been privileged to work with people coping with the impact of trauma (sexual, physical and emotional), depression, anxiety, chronic illness, grief, domestic violence, addiction, issues around sexual orientation and gender issues.
